SPSA

SPSA of waste in NYC and how City College handle its own.

During the creation of this SPSA on the problem of NYC food waste and the way CCNY handles its own organic garbage, we discovered how the city of New York can be quite wasteful of otherwise useful resources like food waste. This can cause problems like air pollution and it is a wasted opportunity in helping the less fortunate with food that could be redistributed. The City College of New York fights this problem of food waste by donating left-over to local homeless shelters and soup questions.
