Recycling, our only hope?

The topic of this paper is to bring to light the lack of recycling efforts done by the United States. In my research of the topic, I came across surprising statistics, statistics that are not being dealt with properly. The amount of plastic waste the United States is producing is immense and the recycling efforts do not come close to balancing it. In this paper, I also disproved some excuses as to why recycling is not beneficial. While true that recycling is not perfect, deciding to dump plastic wastes in landfills is not better.
